Matthews Hall and Dorothy Holman Centre
Community Venues for events, activities & private hire.
The Topsham Community Association exists to "promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Topsham". Our main activity is managing Matthews Hall, the largest venue in Topsham, with all sorts of activites and events going on. We also run the Dorothy Holman Centre on the recreation ground, Ferry Road. For both venues, ring Veronica on (01392) 876865 to book or see contact details above.
Topsham Emergency Group has a website www.topfloods.co.uk giving advice and information about flooding.

The Dorothy Holman Centre usually hosts toddlers, dance school, Pilates, zumba, Beavers and Cubs and seniors and is popular for children's parties.

Matthews Hall has a great cafe with indoor and outdoor seating areas and free wi-fi. Open 10am to 3pm Tuesday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays, the friendly independently-run cafe offers great coffee, fantastic scones and delicious light lunches.
Matthews Hall and Dorothy Holman Centre are still open!
Despite the announcement on the “Rule of six” on 9th September, as a community hall, we are still permitted to host events with more than 6 people, in accordance with government guidance. Socially distanced Pilates, dance exercise, yoga, art classes, concerts and talks etc are still taking place. The only exception is purely social gatherings such as private parties.
